#BeTheMagic Thanks to You!

Showing thanks for those that support #BeTheMagic

This blog gives me the opportunity to update you on how things are going from time to time and thank some people who deserve a mention.

It is so exciting to see the interaction we have had from others loving what we are endeavoring to do here at Be The Magic, but I would really like to take a moment to show my admiration for and thank other charities and not for profits like us for their work and kindness in giving us advice.

We really appreciate their support and help, because they enable us to learn from them as we go about building Be The Magic.

I would like to give immediate thanks to the following so please check out what they do as they are all great.

Butterfly Giving is a charity founded by Hannah Larkin, now 17 years old. The charity is dedicated to fighting teenage cancer. Magic.

Share a Star is a charity which helps seriously unwell children and teenagers aged 0 - 21 years. Their aim is to send a positive message of hope and to make each youngster feel special by creating a unique holding star. Magical.

Post Pals is a small charity run solely by volunteers like we are and who are dedicated to making seriously ill children and their siblings smile by the sending of cards, letters, little gifts, support and friendship. They support children aged 3 to 17 in the UK. It was set up in 2002 by teenagers who were ill themselves. That is so #BeTheMagic.

IFightFor is an organisation that is committed to creating positive social change for every individual through creative ad community engagement projects and activities. Chandos has been great in networking me to other people locally and nationally who may be of assistance. That is #BeTheMagic.

They are all Magic!

Moving on, as you know it is Easter and we are super busy preparing everything for my own first fundraising event at Halo Bournemouth in July.

I recently undertook market research at my school about which wristbands would be best to order and sell on the night and subject to the feedback from the teenagers, we will be selling festival/concert style bands. These were chosen over the rubber/silicone ones.

We have also been busy ordering tickets and sorting the process we will sell them by.

There is a lot of incredible work going on to help some unbelievable causes that encourage kids to help kids and #BeTheMagic.

I will be writing to some of the Poole and Bournemouth schools soon re my event and the Be The Magic initiative and I hope to have more news for you soon.

Anyway, I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their positive reactions to what I am trying to achieve with #BeTheMagic. Dorset Mind, Halo Bournemouth and many more of you who are engaging so well in our social media channels. Please follow us there on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
